I took my Ford Escape to Collex on Merriman because they advertised a free rental if your service is over a thousand dollars. My estimate was purposely low-balled by 200$ so that my rental was not covered! When I arrived to pick up my vehicle (after I returned the rental car I paid for out of my own pocket) I received the actual itemized receipt, it was over the required amount. That type of dishonest behavior from the front office, discolored the quality work the guys in the shop did on my Escape. The replaced panel, paint job and detailing was flawless...very well done, but the practice of low-balling estimates was tasteless. If the company doesn't want to pay for the rentals, don't advertise it!! Stand on the high-quality of work done by the shop and let that be enough, do not lie to the customers to get them in the door and then insult our intelligence by playing with the figures.
