We had some carpeting that was only one and a half years old but during that time we had an additional dog living us for a little bit. When he came out, he explained that we were merely covering up the smell with our own cleaners and not getting rid of the source. The urine had already gone through to the pad and Decker's really took the time to get it done right. They explained to me that in the future we should only use hot water and vinegar to clean urine spots. When I went upstairs yesterday, I don't smell anything.
