I've used iStorage Akron a couple of times. I started using them in 2009, and I've used them on and off based on when I'm in the area. I've moved a couple hundred miles several times, so each time I'm back in Lancaster I use their facility. I've used them anywhere from a three month stretch to a year and a half. When I'm moving back and forth I might not be there for a week or two, but I always come in and out.

Every time I've used them I've found they have friendly staff. The facility is clean and accessible. Other facilities might have run down cars or boats and not look good. But with iStorage Akron, it doesn't matter what's in the other units because the whole facility is well maintained. It looks really nice.

As a young female I'm never afraid to go into the facility, regardless of the time. It is well-lit and clean. You never have to worry about bugs or mice. I'm never worried about my possessions when I'm storing them there, and I can get in anytime I need.

They have good customer service. There have been times when I've needed assistance because I couldn't find my documents or I needed to make a payment, and the staff was very helpful, emailing and calling me back.

I would definitely recommend them, because I feel like the facility is comfortable and clean. I've had no problems. Some other places feel less reliable, but this facility is appealing visually. When I don't have a home to put my things, I feel comfortable leaving them at iStorage Akron.
