Got a quote for a new swamp cooler and installation. Wanted to charge me $4500.00 (no duct work needed, already wired for swamp cooler). I called the Cooler Guy in Tucson and was quoted $2k for all of the same services/installation/unit that Alaskan was going to provide plus a %10 military discount and better warranty. People, Alaskan does not want to do evaporative coolers because there is not enough money in it for them so they upcharge like crazy. Will never use them for AC or evaporative coolers. Good try, Alaskan....I'm too smart to be taken advantage of.
