I saw United Studios of Self Defense Oceanside at my son's school a year prior to enrolling my son in their program. I was very impressed, and my husband and I realized that our son needed to be a part of something positive like that.

As a parent, we want our son to take karate in an environment that is going to teach him martial arts with a focus on technique instead of the practice of Buddhism, chanting and bowing to the gods. United Studios has been a good environment for him and we also appreciate that they teach a blend of different martial arts.

We really like the people and their moral standards at United Studios. The instructors are great. Our son has been practicing there for about 1 to 1-1/2 years now with excellent results. His older brother, who is in the military, is very impressed with all that he has learned.
