We did get a puppy from the Laughlin Kennel, a small breed, and I had to wait until she got to 2 pounds. I saw the puppy, loved her, and wanted her but the only thing I wasn't 100% sold on was the timing of when she was going to be ready. There was a possibility that she would be ready while I was on a vacation that was already planned. I was willing to pay any fee or boarding charge to make things work but there was absolutely no negotiation. Things worked out well but that was the only negative.
