I was pleased with the carpet in the end, but not with the installation process. For one thing, the fellow from Carrell Rogers Carpet One told me on a Monday that five installers had called in sick that morning. I didn't want to hear that, because it made me feel like maybe I didn't get the best one. It was a downer. Then things took longer than I expected; everything took two days instead of one. I finally told them on the second day that it needed to be finished. The space in my house had been emptied out, so I couldn't even set chairs in there to sit down. I needed it done! I called Rebecca, the very helpful decorator who'd been working with me, and said, "Look, this has to be put in". They finally finished installing it that day.

I was a little worried because I have a long hallway, and some of the carpet they'd put there didn't seem long enough to go all the way from end to end. I called them to say I wasn't pleased. They sent Jonathan out, and he worked on it until I was okay with it.

My overall experience just wasn't as stellar as I had hoped.
