I was initially very happy with the doors. We bought 2 garage doors 9 months ago as well as the quiet door openers. We got one of their best doors and openers. They installed everything. Everything went well for 9 months and one of the rollers went off the track. I called to have them come fix it. It costs $500+ for them to fix a door that came off the track that THEY installed. A DOOR COMING OFF THE TRACK IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. They stated that doors come off the track all time and that you have to have the doors inspected and serviced every 3 to 6 months in order for that to be prevented - For an additional $$$ a year after I already spent a premium price 10K+. The cost for the service is more than half the cost of this trip out to fix and the least they could do for doing a crappy job was to at least charge me for 1 year of service fee and that would at least seem like they were willing to do something.
This is not my first rodeo with garage doors and I have NEVER had a door come off the track within the first year! Seems like this is the new trend... do $@!#% work and then charge the customer $$ to have a service plan to have this company keep coming to fix it or make sure it's okay. I was looking forward to giving a good review I thought finally someone in this day in age who does quality work (even if you have to pay a little more) I was hopeful. I just want others to know what to expect if you go with this company. They did not work with us on a compromise, like the price of coming out and fixing it or just standing behind their work and encouraging us to get a service plan for next time knowing that this is a problem with their doors.. We went off the 5 star reviews when we went with this company and I initially would have given them the same, but I wish someone else would have written about this so we could have had a heads up...If you go with this company get the service plan....YOU WILL NEED IT!
