A little over a year ago, my wife and I re-modeled our house. One of the first things we did was to have a Kinetico Water Softener that covers our entire home. Wow! what a great system. I could not have made a better choice other than Kinetico. Our water is now soft, and the system has even removed 95% of the calcification to our pipes, appliances, and faucets. If you are thinking about a water softener, you should seriously consider Kinetico. No electricity, and the salt usage is really minimal. I filled our salt tank in May and in August it was down only about 1/4 from its capacity.
